Uses recorded activity dates, including non-dispatch tasks. Fire seasons run 1 July–30 June.

How the numbers work

Incidents are counted separately in each fire season. One incident continuing into a second season contributes once to each season.

Aircraft-days count distinct aircraft + date combinations per incident. Several flights or tasks on the same day count once for that aircraft. The same aircraft at two incidents counts once at each.

Activity days count distinct dates per incident, not elapsed days. Period dispatched is the inclusive span from first to last selected activity date.

Dispatches count distinct nonblank “Dispatched To” values per incident. These measures follow the existing reports; activity records can include non-dispatch tasks.

Chargeable flight hours sum Flight Time where Chargeable is Yes. Charging hours are the separate Charging Time field. Signed adjustments are retained.

The Locations filter selects all incidents, only those with locations, or only those without locations. Incidents without locations remain available in charts, totals and the register, but cannot appear as map points. Records without an incident name or number are excluded. Task/category chart bars can share the same days or dispatches, so those bars need not sum to the overall total.

The recorded incident location is used, not an aircraft flight path. Combined filters use the overall incident location from IncidentSummary.
